HSR Partner Joshua-Piovia Scott reached a settlement with LA County for $200,000 on behalf of Plaintiff Daniel Johnson, following the 2012 attack on Mr. Johnson by LA County Sheriff’s deputies. Mr. Johnson was tackled and repeatedly tased after asking if he could pick up his father’s cigarette butt to avoid a citation.
