Immigration Associate Attorney (Bilingual- English/Spanish) at Hadsell Stormer Renick & Dai LLP

Job Location: Los Angeles, California 

Job Description: We are seeking an Immigration Associate Attorney with 1-3 years of experience handling family-based immigration matters. We provide direct legal services to members of the hospitality union, UNITE HERE Local 11. The ideal candidate will be able to manage a caseload consisting of, but not limited to, family petitions, adjustment of status, consular processing, naturalization, and waivers. Experience with asylum cases is a plus. Strong oral and written Spanish language fluency is required given that the position requires frequent communication with monolingual Spanish-speaking clients.  Recent graduates with a demonstrated commitment to immigration law will be considered. The candidate must be willing to travel to Orange County and Phoenix, AZ periodically to meet with clients, attend hearings, conduct outreach, and represent the firm as needed. The position requires a minimum of two (2) days per week in office.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school 
  • Admission to California or Arizona bar at the time of applying
  • 1-3 years of experience in family-based immigration law
  • Strong fluency in Spanish, with excellent oral and written communication skills 
  • Ability to interact effectively with clients, attorneys, paralegals, and support staff

Estate Planning Associate Attorney (Bilingual-English/Spanish) at Hadsell Stormer Renick & Dai LLP

Los Angeles, CA; Hybrid Schedule, minimum two (2) days per week in Office

Job Description   
We are seeking an Estate Planning Associate Attorney with 1-5 years of experience handling estate planning, trust administration, probate, or real estate matters. We provide direct legal services to members of UNITE HERE Local 11. The ideal candidate will be able to manage preparing estate plans that include revocable living trusts, wills, and powers of attorney. 

Strong oral and written Spanish language fluency is required given that the position requires frequent communication with monolingual Spanish-speaking clients. Recent graduates will be considered with a demonstrated commitment to estate planning or related matters. The candidate must be willing to travel to Orange County and Phoenix, AZ one or two times per month to meet with clients, attend hearings, conduct outreach, and represent the firm as needed.

Estate Planning Paralegal (Bilingual - English/Spanish) 

Job Location  
Downtown Los Angeles (Hybrid, 3 days per week in office, 2 days per week remote)

Job Description  
Our Los Angeles office provides legal services to union workers and is seeking a bilingual (English/Spanish) estate planning paralegal to join our team.  The ideal candidate will have at least two (2) years of experience in estate planning matters.

Responsibilities

  • Perform document review and analysis. 
  • Communicate with clients, attorneys, paralegals, and support staff. 
  • Manage caseload effectively and efficiently. 
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files and databases. 
  • Draft and prepare correspondence and legal documents.

Requirements

  • At least two (2) years of experience in estate planning, probate, or trust administration matters. 
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish, strong Spanish language skills are required. 
  • Strong document review skills. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Strong organizational and detail-oriented skills. 
  • Excellent case management skills. 
  • Strong computer skills. 
  • Ability to interact effectively with clients, attorneys, paralegals, and support staff.
  • Active Notary Public commission preferred but not required.
