Isabelle Geczy joined Hadsell Stormer Renick & Dai in January 2026.
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Geczy worked for over two years as a Staff Attorney at the Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles as part of the Unhoused People’s Justice Project. During this time, she engaged in systemic litigation in state and federal court to protect and advance the rights of people who are unhoused. Ms. Geczy also completed a fellowship dually hosted by the Criminal Justice Program at the University of California, Los Angeles School of Law and The Bail Project, where she carried out work concerning pretrial justice and detention.
Ms. Geczy graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles School of Law with a specialization in Public Interest Law and Policy. While in law school, she worked as a law clerk at the Orange County Public Defender, Unite Here Local 11, and Hadsell Stormer Renick & Dai. Ms. Geczy also served as the Chief Articles Editor of the UCLA Law Review.
Before attending law school, Ms. Geczy was an organizer with Greenpeace U.S.A., where she built power for campaigns against extractive fossil fuel infrastructure and other pressing environmental issues.
Ms. Geczy received her B.A. magna cum laude from the University of California, Santa Barbara, graduating as a member of the honor society Phi Beta Kappa.
