HSRR attorney Cindy Panuco appeared on Russia Today’s English and Spanish programs yesterday discussing the current situation in Guantanamo Bay.
Also, Amnesty International has released a new comprehensive report on the 12-year detention of Obaidullah, an Afghan captured at age 19. The report follows Obaidullah’s experience from his capture based on an unknown informant, to his torture at Bagram, to the current hunger strike at the camp. During those 12 years, Obaidullah has not been given a trial and in fact, has no charges against him.
